Use these inexpensive sensor for crank, cam or wheel speed/driveshaft rpm signal. These sensor have a very high 15kHz resolution and their fully threaded body let you set the gap precisely with the wide range of adjustment available. On most install these will require a pullup resistor, please refer to your ECU documentation for wiring. They can work with an input voltage ranging from 5 to 24 VDC.
