Description Liatris spicata ‘Kobold’ Gayfeather. Perennial which has hairless stems and linear or linear-lance-shaped basal leaves, and linear stem leaves. In late summer and early autumn long lasting deep purple flowerheads are borne in dense spikes. Grow in moist soil but well-drained soil in sun or part-shade. It will reach a height of 65cm and a spread of 30cm.
